LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A body found Sunday night in Pikesville has been identified as an 88-year-old woman missing from the area since earlier in the month.
Police said when Irene Kuperstein was initially reported missing that she had difficulty hearing and only spoke Polish.
Kuperstein was spotted on video surveillance leaving a Giant Grocery store in the 6600 block of Reisterstown Rd 21215 at 9:21 p.m. Aug. 2.
On Aug. 10, a 911 caller said a body had been found outside a home in the 300 block of Church Lane. Police who reported to the scene say it appears the woman had been dead for some time. The remains have been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
