Police Arrest Man Who Abducted Infant Daughter at Metro Station

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Police have arrested a 29-year-old man who allegedly snatched his infant daughter from the girl’s mother at a Metro station Tuesday night.

Metro Transit Police say Darrel Keith Parker was taken into custody late Wednesday morning. Police say Parker abducted his 15-month-old daughter at the Southern Avenue Metro station on the D.C.-Prince George’s County line at about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The girl is safe and unharmed in police care.
