10-Year-Old Bicyclist Struck by Car in Md.

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW/AP) – A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured Friday when she was struck by a car while biking in North Bethesda, Maryland.
Montgomery County Fire says the girl was struck near the intersection of Tuckerman Lane and Kings Riding Way around 5:45 p.m.
The child suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Children’s National Medical Center, according to authorities. Montgomery County Police Department Capt. David Falcinelli says the girl is in serious but stable condition.
The driver who struck the girl remained on the scene. It is unclear if she will face any charges.
