WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Anthony Rendon may not have social media to promote his own #VoteRendon Twitter campaign, and may refuse to join Twitter, but he does, however, hate the ‘Transformers’ movies, and likes Double Decker Tacos from Taco Bell.

So that probably makes up for it.

In an interview with Chad Dukes on 106.7 The Fan, Wednesday, the Nationals third/second baseman was asked if he ever gets out, during the season, to see any movies. “I try not to get out too much,” Rendon replied. “I try to enjoy my resting.”

Asked to name his number one action movie, Rendon said, “I’m a big movie guy, so you gotta give me like a year, like a genre, just more than just action.”

“Have you seen ‘No Country for Old Men’?” Dukes specified.

“No, I haven’t,” Rendon said.

“You need to check that one out,” Dukes said.

“No Country for Old Men,” Rendon acknowledged he received the message.

“Yea, don’t watch ‘Transformers 4,’” Dukes insisted. “Can I give you that little piece of advice?”

“Yea,” Rendon said. “I’m not a big ‘Transformers’ fan.”

“Yea, you’d rather like wrap a belt around your neck than go see ‘Transformers 4,’” Dukes said. “It is absolutely horrendous.”

It was at this point, the conversation transformed from movies to taco preferences.

“Last question for you, Anthony, and always appreciate the time,” Dukes said. “And everybody get out there and vote for him in the All-Star Game; soft tacos, or hard tacos? Which one do you prefer?”

“Can I go Double Decker Taco from Taco Bell?

“You can do whatever you want,” Dukes said.

“It’s kind of a both, a hard taco and a soft taco,” Rendon said.

“Now I’m famished,” Dukes said. “Now I’m gonna have to send somebody out for a dozen of those.”
