Nationals Players to Visit Capital Area Food Bank

WASHINGTON — Washington Nationals pitchers Jerry Blevins and Craig Stammen visited the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington to help children prepare healthy snacks Monday morning.

The food bank’s Kids Cafe program prepares free, healthy meals and snacks for more than 2,000 children and teens daily after school and over the summer. The meals and snacks are distributed at nearly 90 locations in the Washington area.
