LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A D.C. firefighter was arrested Wednesday night after police responded to a call investigating a drug complaint.
Just before 6 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of 63rd Street in Northeast. Police made contact with the firefighter, and found cocaine and an unregistered firearm in his possession.
He has been charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
It was not immediately known what type of firearm was found and where he obtained the gun. It was also not immediately known how much cocaine was found in his possession.
Officials have not released the name of the D.C. firefighter.
