WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – The Wizards signed 30-year-old center Marcin Gortat to a five-year, $60 million contract extension Tuesday night, according to multiple reports.

Washington acquired Gortat from the Phoenix Suns in a multi-player trade in 2013. He averaged 13.2 points and 9.5 rebounds last season.

The Wizards are also looking to re-sign Trevor Ariza. The 6-foot-8 small forward averaged 14.4 points and 4.6 rebounds last year.
