RGIII Jumps Hurdle, Hits Trash Can with Football, Squats a lot of Weight (Video)
WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Things going on in Washington: The Wizards pursuing contracts to retain Marcin Gortat and Trevor Ariza, the Maryland Terrapins joining the Big Ten Conference (officially), and President Barack Obama invoking his right to take executive in bypassing Congress over immigration policy.
Things going on outside Washington: Robert Griffin III posting videos of him jumping over hurdles then throwing footballs at trash cans, and lifting large amounts of weight with his shoulders.
“Hurdles or Football? Why Not Both?” Griffin posted along with the hurdle/trash can video late Monday night, which he also posted to Facebook with the caption, “When you don’t get out of it what you put in DFO!!! Don’t Freak Out baby. Keep Grinding! Keep Working! God has a plan! So do your PART and TRAIN TO CONQUER!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Griffin was also smart to note the video was taken at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Calif., so guys like me don’t have to spend 4 hours calling every California-looking college just to fact-check that, in fact, he was working out at Occidental College in California.
(There’s a longer version below.)
It’s also important, though, to Know Your Why, which is why, I’d imagine, Griffin also posted this video of him squatting what looks to be a large amount of weight, along with the hashtags “#KnowYourWhy” and “#GoCatchYourDream.”
So, while important things are going on in and around D.C. which could have real, long-term implications on the people inside and out of it, one way or another, find the strength to get out there, peel your shirt off, and just, Go Catch Your Dream.
