UMd. Lacrosse Player Accused of Sexually Assaulting Woman at Concert

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) – A University of Maryland lacrosse player has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman who fell asleep at a concert in Bristow, Virginia, Sunday night.
A 49-year-old woman told Prince William County Police that she fell asleep on the lawn at Jiffy Lube Live around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. When she woke up, she claims a man was lying beside her and touching her inappropriately.
Police say the man walked away and was later detained by officers for public intoxication.
Benjamin Chisolm, 19, of Davidsonville, Md., has been charged with aggravated sexual battery and is being held without bond.
A court date has been scheduled for July 17.
The Maryland lacrosse team’s website list Chisolm as an attack, playing two games as a freshman this past year.
