LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) – If you need an excuse to get out of work Thursday to watch the United States-Germany World Cup match, Team USA’s head coach has you covered.

The U.S. Soccer team’s official Twitter page sent out a note signed by coach Jurgen Klinsmann Wednesday night, excusing anyone who gives it to their boss.

Klinsmann retweeted the photo, adding that fans should wear their USA jerseys to work, too.

The game airs on ESPN at noon.
