LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Police say they have arrested a man for stabbing another man to death in Glenarden during an apparent argument.
Prince George’s County Police along with Glenarden Police arrested 37-year-old Jahwil Sheard, of Landover, Sunday for stabbing 26-year-old Terrell Maurice Burton, of Northwest, D.C., to death.
Just before 9 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 7900 block of Johnson Avenue for a report of a stabbing. Police say when they arrived, they saw a man matching the suspect’s description running from the area and immediately stopped him.
Police say they then found Burton suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
