WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – There’s really two ways to look at DeSean Jackson’s attempt to troll LeBron James on Instagram, if you’re a Redskins fan.

One may evoke a sudden urge to #HTTR, at the thought of a favorite athlete of one’s favorite team, the Redskins, mocking a despised sports figure forming an unholy union of supertalents in his relentless pursuit of championships.

The other is more of a forceful experience of cognitive dissonance, if you’re of the mind to root for James to win his third NBA Championship in as many years — which would be an odd feeling pitting your loyalty to the Redskins against your love for James.

Such cognitive dissonance may be similar to that which Nationals experienced earlier this week, when photos of Bryce Harper wearing a Dallas Cowboys hat at the National Zoo over the weekend surfaced.

In whichever category you fall, Jackson did openly mock James Wednesday on Instagram, when he posted a picture — one which he’d also link to Twitter — of Michael Jordan standing aside Kobe Bryant, the following text superimposed atop:

“We didn’t have to team up with 2 of the top 5 picks in our own draft class along with the greatest 3 point shooter ever to finally win rings.”

#imjusayin was the preferred hashtag to go along with the post, in this instance.

Again, if you associate yourself with Column A, this is perhaps a knockout victory, and one worthy of sharing around the internet.

But if you’re more Column B, this sucks, and although you may have a hard time justifying to your buddies why you’re both a Redskins and LeBron fan, you won’t have as diffi– actually, no, it just sucks all around.

Without taking any sides, Jordan is still a 6-time NBA champion, Kobe is still a 5-time NBA champion, and at the time of this writing, LeBron’s Heat still currently trail the San Antonio Spurs two games to one in the 2014 NBA Finals.

I, for one, am gonna go drink a refreshing bottle of Sprite, then maybe re-watch Space Jam.
