Police: Montgomery County Man Tried to Hire Hit Man to Kill Ex-Wife

ROCKVILLE, Md. — Montgomery County Police have arrested a man they say tried to hire someone to kill his ex-wife.

Detectives say on June 3, they receive information that a man was trying to hire a killer for $1,000. On June 6, police say, an undercover officer posing as a hit man met with the suspect.

Police say the man solicited the officer to kill his ex-wife, gave the officer partial payment, and showed the officer where his ex-wife lived and gave him a picture of her.

Thirty-seven-year-old Ndokey Peter Enow of Gaithersburg was arrested and charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder. He is being held without bond.

Online court records do not list a lawyer for Enow.
