Police Identify 3 Found Dead Near Hagerstown, Md.

HALFWAY, Md. — Police are identifying three people who were found dead in a home near Hagerstown in an apparent murder-suicide.
Washington County sheriff’s deputies were called to the home in the community of Halfway on Thursday afternoon.
The victims were three adults. Police identified them as 23-year-old Christopher Wachter, 47-year-old Kimberly Smith and 54-year-old William Smith Jr. Wachter was the son of Kimberly Smith and the step-son of William Smith Jr.
Police say investigators believe William Smith Jr. killed his wife and Wachter before killing himself. Police say Wachter and Kimberly Smith suffered multiple stab wounds.
Investigators are not looking for any other suspects.
