LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A man’s body was found in shallow water in the Patapsco Valley State Park Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the 30-year-old “out-of-state” man was found in about two feet of water and pronounced dead at the scene.
Around 1:30 p.m., Anne Arundel County, Natural Resources and Maryland State Police responded to the Belle Grove Road and Thomas Avenue area in Brooklyn Park.

The man’s identity was not immediately known and an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.
Natural Resources Police are investigating.
