WATCH: Preteen Sons of Obama Advisers Have a Band, Just Released First Music Video

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — The sons of four of President Barack Obama’s advisers have a band, and they recently released their very first music video.

The New York Daily News says the band’s members — Hugo Carney (lead singer), Ben Froman (guitar), Lucas Donovan (bass) and Joey Doyle (drums) — are the offspring of White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, U.S. Trade Rep. Mike Froman, HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan and Patti Solis Doyle, a senior adviser to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

The 12-year-olds all attend Sidwell Friends School with Sasha and Malia Obama, according to the Daily News report.

The music video features the boys playing and singing at D.C. landmarks like the Rock & Roll Hotel and Union Station.

The band, which formed in 2011, is called Twenty20. The boys are currently working on an EP album.
