2 Dead, 1 in Critical Condition in Separate Incidents in Baltimore

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Baltimore police are investigating two homicides and one shooting that left a man in critical condition overnight.

Just after midnight, police responded to 109 Denison Street for a for a report of a shooting. Once they arrived, an adult male was found with gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

He was transported to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Preliminary investigation reveals the man, 47-year-old Eric Howard, was sitting on his front porch when at least two men pulled up in a dark van and began to shoot.

Around 2 a.m. Saturday, police say a woman was fatally stabbed on 40 South Stockton Street. Once police arrived, they found the woman in a building with a stab wound to her chest.

The woman was transported to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Homicide detectives are investigating both incidents.

Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred around 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Robb Street. Police say they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.

He was transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.
