BOWIE, Md. (WNEW/AP) — Authorities say a man is dead after a house fire in Prince George’s County.

Firefighters were called to the 6400 block of Grendel Place in Bowie for a report of a fire around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found flames shooting from the roof of the home and all floors of the home on fire.

Additionally, ammunition stored inside the home began firing due to heat from the fire.

Firefighters found the man dead on the second floor.
