LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Police say they are continuing to ask for the public’s help in finding a teenage girl who went missing from her Montgomery County home nearly two months ago.

Montgomery County Police say 14-year-old Alexandra Innis, of the 4000 block of Peppertree Lane in Silver Spring, was last seen April 4.

Police say Alexandra has stopped responding to her phone and social media accounts, and her family is very concerned for her emotional and physical well-being.

Alexandra is known to frequent the Westfield Wheaton shopping mall, and the Stepping Stone Way and Castle Boulevard areas of Silver Spring, according to detectives. She is very familiar with public transportation.

Police describe Alexandra as a black female, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information on Alexandra’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division at 240-773-5400.
