Man Killed After ‘Confrontation’ in Howard County
LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Howard County Police have a suspect in custody after a man was found dead in an outbuilding on a property in Dayton.
Police were called to the location in the 4900 block of Ten Oaks Road around 3 p.m. Friday for a report of shots fired and found an adult male dead on the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and suspect were known acquaintances and that there was a brief confrontation between the two, which resulted in the victim being shot.

Charges are pending, and the suspect will be identified once charges are filed.
The man killed is not being identified, pending notification of next of kin.
An investigation is ongoing and information will be updated as it becomes available.
