WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson will host an upcoming celebratory fundraiser of his move to Washington, to benefit his ongoing anti-bullying campaign, on Father’s Day in Washington, D.C.
The “Already Home Anti-Bullying Fundraiser” is set to take place at Pinstripes bowling, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., in Georgetown on Sunday, June 15.
Tickets are available for purchase to the public, and will grant attendees the opportunity to participate in team bowling, bocce games, face painting, an NFL Madden video game tournament, raffle giveaways, receive signature cupcake designs, and take photos with Redskins players.
Also, a special viewing of DeSean Jackson’s documentary – featuring home videos of DeSean from the age of eight all the way to his rise in the NFL — will be held.
Proceeds from the event will benefit D.C. Ward 8’s “The Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative.”
Also on hand will be Viacom government relations representative Ray Casas, Washington Kastles owner Mark Ein, Leon Harris of WJLA-TV, and philanthropist and private wealth adviser at UBS, Vic Seested.
Single tickets range from $25 to $100 based on various packages, and can be purchased here.
