Police: 10-Year-Old Boy Missing In Aspen Hill

UPDATE: Kevin Salgado has been found safe and unharmed.

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 10-year-old Aspen Hill boy who left for school Monday morning but never showed up.

Montgomery County Police say Kevin Salgado, of the 3000 block of Hewitt Avenue, was last seen at his home just before 9 a.m. Monday. Police say Kevin was supposed to get on his school bus to Harmony Hills Elementary School, but he didn’t board the bus and never arrived at school.

Police describe Kevin as an Hispanic male, about 5 feet tall, weighing between 60 and 70 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green baseball hat with a white letter “K” on it, a gray sweater, blue jeans and blue sneakers.

Anyone with information of Kevin’s whereabouts is asked to call Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.
