Person Critical After Touching Live Wire Near Georgetown Campus

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A person was severely shocked and taken to the hospital after touching a live wire on the campus of Georgetown University Wednesday morning.
Their injuries are considered life-threatening, according to D.C. Fire and EMS officials.
It is unclear whether the victim is a student at the school.
The incident occurred at 37th Street and O Street NW just before 8 a.m.
