Kenwood High School Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Kenwood High School in Essex was been evacuated Tuesday morning due to a bomb threat, police say.

School officials received a threatening phone call around 7:46 a.m., according to Baltimore County Police say. School officials then alerted police to the threat.

All students and staff were evacuated while police investigated the threat. They were allowed to return to the building around 9 a.m. once the threat was cleared.
