OXON HILL, Md. (WNEW) — Police are investigating the death of a man who was shot multiple times early Wednesday in Oxon Hill.
At least nine evidence markers are visible in the 4900 block of Maury Place, where police found the man’s body around 1:15 a.m. It is unclear whether each marker represents a shell casing and exactly how many shots were fired.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Prince George’s County Police have identified the victim as 20-year-old Samuel Cheadle, of Southeast Washington, D.C.
