News & Sports Talk Programming Internship

We offer an exciting internship with news/ sports talk programming departments where students will gain an understanding of the broadcast radio industry. The learning experience will include observing/training in audio production, the news gathering process as well as conducting interviews under the close supervision of the News Director or Show Producer. Ideal candidates should have intern availability for 12-15 hours a week.

Required Qualifications
* Must be registered in an internship for academic credit with your college/university and must provide official documentation upon acceptance of this internship;
* Must be a junior or senior to apply;
* All applicants must submit cover letter indicating your area of interest.

PROMOTIONS INTERNSHIP (106.7 the Fan only)

We offer an exciting internship with promotions departments where students will gain an understanding of the broadcast radio industry. The learning experience will include observing/training in marketing/event planning as well as executing a live broadcast under the close supervision of the Promotions Manager. Ideal candidates should have intern availability for 12-15 hours a week. The hours of operations for our Promotions Departments are between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Required Qualifications
* Must be registered in an internship for academic credit with your college/university and must provide official documentation upon acceptance of this internship;
* Must be a junior or senior to apply;
* All applicants must submit cover letter indicating your area of interest.
