LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A 59-year-old man died after being hit by a car in Bladensburg Saturday night.
Prince George’s County police say they responded to the 4500 block of Landover Road around 9 p.m. and found Peter Kehinde Adegbite in the roadway with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Preliminary investigation reveals that Adegbite walked into the path of a car that was heading southbound on Landover Road. Police say he was not in a crosswalk.
The driver remained on the scene.
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
