CHEVERLY, Md. (WNEW/AP) — A Hyattsville man has been arrested and charged in a fatal stabbing in Cheverly.
Prince George’s County police say 22-year-old Thaddeus Bailey was arrested Saturday at his home.
He’s charged with first- and second-degree murder as well as assault in the stabbing death of 46-year-old Duvaughn Ganeous, who also lived in Hyattsville.
Ganeous was found in the 5400 block of Annapolis Road suffering from multiple stab wounds late Thursday night, police say. He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.
Police say the slaying occurred after a fight earlier that evening between Ganeous and Bailey.
