Report: Redskins to Hire Former Eagles Scout Bret Munsey for Offense

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – The Washington Redskins will announce former Philadelphia Eagles scout Bret Munsey as a new offensive assistant to Jay Gruden, Chick Hernandez is reporting for CSN Washington.

Munsey joined the Eagles prior to the 2013 season, after an extended period as a head coach of multiple teams in the Arena Football League, most recently the Orlando Predators in 2011-2012.

He was previously the director of player personnel for the UFL’s Florida Tuskers for two seasons (2009-2010), including in 2010 under then head coach Jay Gruden.

In 2008, Munsey led the Philadelphia Soul to an Arena Bowl championship as the head coach.
