Redskins Cut Defensive Lineman Facing 4-Game Suspension

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins have released Brandon Moore who is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.

The defensive end was informed of his release Tuesday morning as players reported to Redskins Park for the first day of voluntary minicamp, a source confirms.

The Redskins were awarded Moore on waivers after he was cut by the Kansas City Chiefs in March.

Moore originally signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
