LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Listen as the Sports Junkies discuss the alleged racist comments made by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.
Lurch cites a Bill Plaschke authored column in the Los Angeles Times that highlights 30 years of controversy surrounding Sterling’s tenure in the NBA.
Plaschke’s suggestion is for the league to treat the incident as Major League Baseball did on two separate occasions with Cincinnati Reds owner Marge Schott. She was suspended of her ownership duties in 1993 and again from 1996 through 1998 for making racially insensitive remarks.
How do you think the NBA should handle the Sterling situation?
