CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The University of Virginia Cavalier Marching Band has been selected to perform in next year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

It will join nine other marching bands across the country to perform along the two-mile parade route in New York City on Nov. 26, 2015.

The Cavalier Marching Band made its debut in 2004 and has grown to more than 300 members.
