WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – There was plenty extra going on prior to the Nationals extra innings loss to the Padres on Thursday, with 106.7 The Fan talent on-hand for “Fan Night.”

First thing’s first. Grant Paulsen somehow lived up to the extraordinary hype building up to his throwing out of the ceremonial first pitch, delivering an almost strike that looked in the mid- to late-40’s from the mound.

Also prior to the game, the Junkies sat down for a special Q&A session with in-house host Mike Ploger, which ran on the billboard screen to be seen and heard throughout the stadium big time.

And then there was the well-timed disruption of the Presidents Race, in which Lavar Arrington prevented Abe from crossing the finish line by delivering a crippling tackle to allow Taft to win that night.
