12-Year-Old Boy Struck By Vehicle in Towson

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A 12-year-old boy was seriously hurt when he was struck by a vehicle in Towson on Friday afternoon, authorities say.

The boy was hit by a car in the 6400 block of York Road just after 3 p.m., according to a Baltimore County Fire spokesperson. The boy was taken to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore with serious injuries.

Authorities say the vehicle’s drive remained on the scene and the crash team is investigating.
