WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – Redskins defensive lineman Brandon Moore, recently claimed on waivers from the Chiefs, has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2014 season, for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, an NFL spokesperson announced.
He’ll be eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.
Moore, 23, was claimed by the Redskins on March 24. He signed to the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in April 2013, and spent time on San Diego’s and Denver’s practice squads, before being acquired by the Chiefs in Dec. 2013.
