Man Arrested in Oxon Hill Shooting

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Prince George’s County Police say they arrested a man on Friday in connection with a murder in Oxon Hill.

The man is identified as 24-year-old Odell Quarles III of Oxon Hill. He faces first-degree murder and related charges after 35-year-old Vincent Toussaunt Kyler of Accokeek was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds in a car about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The vehicle was found on Audrey Lane.

Investigators say they believe the motive is drug-related. Quarles remains in custody and the investigation is on-going.
