Va. Zoo’s 5 Cheetah Cubs Go on Public Display

RICHMOND, Va. — The public can now see the Richmond Metro Zoo’s cheetah cubs in person.

Media outlets report that the cubs went on public display Tuesday.

Previously, the cubs could be viewed online through the Richmond Cheetah Cam, a partnership of the zoo and the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The Cheetah Cam was shut down Friday.

About 200 people greeted the cubs when they entered their new closure with their mother.

The cubs were born at the zoon on Oct. 6, 2013.
