RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia tourism officials are promoting sites that will appear in the AMC network’s new series about America’s first spy ring.

The series “TURN” has been filming in central Virginia since November, featuring historic sites including Shirley Plantation and Tuckahoe, the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson. Viewers also might recognize the Farmer’s Market and city streets of Petersburg. The series debuts at 9 p.m. Sunday.

The mark the occasion, the Virginia Tourism Corporation has launched a “TURN” trail to help visitors explore the Colonial and Revolutionary War-era attractions featured in the series. More information is available at
