LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Do you watch television in real time, or are you more likely to binge on episodes via Netflix and DVR?
A recently released Harris Poll survey says D.C. is one of the “bingey-est” cities out there, with 88 percent of residents reporting that they often watch two or more episodes in one sitting.
Binging is equally popular in Dallas and San Francisco.
About 53 percent of D.C. dwellers also say they have neglected things like housework and even basic hygiene in the pursuit of polishing off multiple episodes of a program in one sitting.
Surveyors spoke with more than 2,000 adults nationwide and 200 in each of the top 10 media markets.
