LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Seamheads wanting to pop the question at a Washington Nationals game better be ready to go back, back, back to the bank to withdraw more money this season.

Nationals Park ranks as the second most expensive Major League Baseball stadium for guys to get down on one knee to propose, according to swimmingly.com. And no, there doesn’t appear to be a discount for girls doing the asking.

The team charges $1,500 for the proposal to be shown live on the scoreboard in between innings. And with a two video proposal per season limit, the spots may go fast.

The only stadium charging more is out in Tinseltown where the Los Angeles Dodgers want a whopping $2,500 to show the proposal live on the scoreboard. Hooray for Hollywood! The team has imposed a one proposal per month limit at Dodgers Stadium, leaving a few more opportunities for lovesick baseball fans to risk rejection.

For the more cost conscientious, both teams offer discounted rates just to have the question itself shown on the scoreboard without all the pressure of having 30,000 eyes watching you risk the rejection of your life.

Washington offers such a text service for $500 while Los Angeles dials down the cost to a much more reasonable $75.

The Baltimore Orioles do not offer in-game proposals.
