WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - The Washington Redskins have re-signed defensive back E.J. Biggers, the team announced Thursday.

Biggers, 26, is a four-year veteran of the NFL returning to the Redskins for his second straight season.

He played in all 16 games in 2013, tallying 1 interception, 2 passes defended and 35 combined tackles, splitting time between safety and corner.

Biggers played collegiately at Western Michigan from 2005-2008.

The Redskins also finalized a deal with veteran linebacker Brian Orakpo.
