Montgomery County Teenager Has Been Missing Since Monday

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Police are asking for the public’s help in searching for a 17-year-old Bethesda girl who has been missing from her Broad Brook Drive home since Monday.

The family of Leila Anne Khalil says she frequents the Kensington and Bethesda areas and is very familiar with public transportation. They are concerned for her welfare because of her age and because she has a health condition that needs to be monitored.

Leila is described as a 5-foot-4 white female weighing 130 pounds, with brown eyes, and long brown hair.

Anyone with information regarding Leila’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police-Family Crimes Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
