Black Ice A Factor In Deadly Upper Marlboro Crash

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A man was killed when his pickup truck overturned on Central Avenue in Upper Marlboro early Wednesday morning, Maryland State Police say. Authorities believe black ice was a factor in the crash.

The man lost control of his vehicle around 4:45 a.m. at the intersection of Central Avenue and Enterprise Road, police say. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Westbound Central Avenue is closed at St. Michaels Drive while police document and clear the crash.
