Police Question Four Students After Bomb Threat at Md. Middle School

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Four students from North East Middle School are being questioned by Maryland State Police in connection to a bomb threat at the school Tuesday morning.

The students are considered suspects, according to officials with Cecil County Public Schools.

The bomb threat was received around 10 a.m., North East Police Department officials say. Further information on the threat was not immediately available.

Students and staff at the middle school have been moved to North East High School as a precaution, authorities say.

School officials say parents should pick up students from the high school. Bus service is being made available to students without independent transportation.
