LARGO, Md. — The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and the State Highway Administration are joining forces to fight littering.
A litter blitz begins Friday in the Chillum area. It will continue with the cleanup of county roadways through March 28.
The effort is focusing on removing litter and illegal signs from the primary and state roadways.
Motorists are advised to be aware of trucks and crews working on the roadways.
