Washington Nationals Held National Anthem Auditions

WASHINGTON — The Washington Nationals held auditions for people who want to sing the national anthem during baseball season.

Performers had to submit their resumes to the Nationals this week and the auditions themselves were held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The auditions were not open to the public. The team said they’d audition the first 50 anthem hopefuls who submitted their resumes.

Soloists, groups and instrumentalists were all allowed to compete.
