LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — D.C. is the best U.S. city for feminists, according to a new study.

Estately real estate says the nation’s capital is a city “where women stand to make the most money and effect the most change.”

According to the site’s calculations, D.C. women on average earn about 75 percent of what men do, a higher ratio than is found in other metro areas. The overall average for the country is 77 percent, according to the White House.

Another consideration for the ranking — the current Congress has more female legislators than ever before. There are 20 women in the Senate and 81 in the House of Delegates.

Estately also factors in a February NerdWallet study that says more than a third of District business are owned by woman, making it a good place for female entrepreneurs to find mentors.

NerdWallet says the city also houses multiple organizations for businesswomen like the Women’s Business Center and the National Women’s Business Council.

Estately’s list is rounded out with the following cities:

2. Honolulu, HI
3. Philadelphia, PA
4. Oakland, CA
5. New Orleans, LA
6. Bridgeport, CT
7. Macon, GA
8. Worcester, MA
9. Portland, OR
10. Detroit, MI
11. Madison, WI
