Woman Walking Dog Discovers Body in Annapolis Ravine

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – A woman walking her dog discovered the body of 48-year-old Diane Donati in a ravine in Annapolis on Friday.

Police responded for an unattended death behind a sediment pond in Bestgate Recreation Park — located in the 700 block of Bestgate Road — at about 12:19 p.m.

Donati, of an unknown address, was fully clothed and dressed appropriately for cold weather, and even had a blue blanket wrapped around her, police say.

It appeared she had draped the blanket over her shoulders in an effort to keep warm, police say.

Police ask anyone who may have seen the woman to call (410) 222-3417.

No signs of trauma or foul play were found.

The investigation is ongoing.
