UPDATE: Amber Alert has been canceled. Amiyah Dallas was safely recovered in Accomack County. Olivia Dallas was taken into custody without incident.

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 5-year-old Virginia girl who went missing Tuesday, police say.

The girl, Amiyah Monet Dallas, was last seen in Orange County in Virginia in the custody of her aunt, Olivia Nicole Dallas. Virginia State Police say they believe the girl has been abducted and she could be in imminent danger.

Investigators say Olivia Dallas has ties to Maryland and South Carolina.

Amiyah Dallas is described as black female standing about 3 feet tall and weighing about 40 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair that was last seen in pigtails. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt with buttons, blue jeans, white shoes and a pink sweater.

Olivia Dallas is described as a black female standing 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 110 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. Authorities say she has a history of depression and drug use.

Investigators believe the pair may be traveling in a burgundy 2001 C240 Mercedes with Maryland tag 8AFZ03.

Anyone with information on the pair’s whereabouts should call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 540-672-1200 or the Virginia State Police at #77.
