Police Catch Drug Dealers Jumping from 3rd-Floor Hotel Window

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Police say they made four arrests after they observed drug dealing from a hotel room in Annapolis.

Anne Arundel County police say four people jumped out of a 3rd-story window at the Extended Stay hotel on Womack Drive when officers knocked on the door of their room on Friday night.

Police say one of the suspects dropped a loaded 9mm handgun. The gun turned out to have been stolen in a burglary in Calvert County.

Inside the room, police found heroin, marijuana, $3,000 in cash and other evidence of drug dealing. Police also believe the men flushed drugs down the toilet.

Arrested were 21-year-old Brandon Johnson of Annapolis, 23-year-old Gerald Hyman of Annapolis, 21-year-old Shaun Crowdy of Arnold and 17-year-old Charles Wells of Annapolis. Wells was charged as an adult.
